Selective classes expectations

Xổ số kiến thiết ba đàiThe academic level of the selective class is high and rigorous. Teachers are expecting that the students work hard to reach their personal best and true potential. Misbehaviour is not tolerated in the classroom and discipline procedures are followed.

Xổ số kiến thiết ba đàiStudents need to bring their classroom materials and books every day and comply with all teachers instructions in the classroom and adhere to the school uniform policy.

It is expected that students reach the academic level in the top 10% of the school cohort and they participate in extra-curricular activities.

Improvement program for selective class students

Students who are having academic or behaviour issues in the selective class may be placed on an improvement program by teacher recommendation.

Xổ số kiến thiết ba đàiThe aim of the improvement program is to help the student to get back on track with the level of study of the class, improve study skills, task management and school organisation. The program is not a discipline program but usually misbehaviour leads to low achievement in class.

Xổ số kiến thiết ba đàiStudents participating in the improvement program work at lunch with the program coordinator for a period of two or three weeks. The program coordinator monitors the progress of the students and parents are contacted by mail about it.

Usually,  by the end of the program, students show an improvement on their skills and the can meet the academic demands of the class. Rarely, students are removed from the selective class but it may happen if the pressure and demands to perform in the class is affecting their general well being.

Xổ số kiến thiết ba đàiWhen students are removed from the selective class, they are placed in the academic level below the selective class. Students can sit the selective test entry to come back to the selective class in future years if they wish.
